Bite Back!

The Box Project or How to Bite Back in three (+ 1) ways.

So, you’re ready to take a stand and help us end homelessness in Indianapolis? Superb.

Here’s what you can do for now.

Come to our Events.
No sense repeating what is already said here even better.

Contact us and request The Box.
A study recently pointed out that there is $99 in spare change in each household in America. Why not gather the spare change in your home for someone who has no home? We’ll give you a box (sort of like the little guy to your right) and you can fill it with your generosity. Return it to any central Indiana Salvation Army location, Two Men and a Truck location or any of our events. We’ll gladly give it back for a refill, or use it to help someone else bite back. Or, if you’d prefer, make a secure online donation right now.

Get your hands dirty.
Volunteers are just about everything to us. We need compassionate, hard-working people who want to help mobilize our efforts to end homelessness in Indianapolis. So, stand with us. Let yourself be counted. Contact our Volunteer Coordinator.

Become A Facebook Fan.
Then, voice your opinions about homelessness in Indianapolis, get updated on changes to this site, or share a monkey bread recipe. For the 1,300 homeless kids, there is no voice for them quite like yours. And we want to hear it.  Visit us on Facebook.

Join the Bite Back Brigade.

Want something even more tangible?
Our Social Service Center (which serves women and children who are facing homelessness due to issues like domestic violence) just posted this wish list. If you’d like to give something from this list, contact Julia Sipes at our Social Service Center.
