Events

We have 3 events. One is tottling along, one is in kindergarten, and the other is barely crawling. But, these events are like our kids. And when it comes to kids, we’re passionate. Homelessness Bites serves to raise funds for and awareness about the homeless children in Indianapolis. Also, homelessness in general. Our events have a serious cause, but that doesn’t mean we can’t have fun with them!

Ah. Finally, an event for malophiles. Six years ago we started serving apple cobbler on Monument Circle on the first Thursday of October, and we’ve not looked back (except occasionally to check out our following.) We’re growing like a weed. Find out more here. You’ll also find some pictures and a family-friendly definition of malophile. We promise.

Homelessness isn’t a laughing matter but this event is. Comics That Care is a live comedy show which benefits The Salvation Army’s Homelessness Bites program. The event is sponsored by the Communications Club at IUPUI. The comics are giving their time so all proceeds go to The Salvation Army.

May is a good month for a picnic. How about a picnic in downtown Indy? How about at Veterans Memorial Park? How about hot dogs? How about live music? How about a chance at a free professional move? How about eating outside the box? Eat Outside the Box, a Picnic to End Homelessness. Homelessness is no picnic, but join us and you can stick a fork in it. And you just might be surprised what you find inside the box as well.
