Apple Fest
Mark your calendar to join us…
for our 7th annual Apple Fest on Monument Circle on Thursday, October 7, 2010.
We’re thrilled to partner with our friends at Emmis Communications to promote the event on all four of their stations – WIBC 93.1, B105.7, HANK-FM, and 1070 The Fan. We’re getting our ducks in a row and we’ll have all of the details up on their community calendars soon.
We’re planning on lots of good food and entertainment again this year. Bandwagon will once again rock the lunchtime crowd with their vast repertoire of classic and current top 40 hits.
Apple Fest is just one part of The Salvation Army’s Homelessness Bites campaign to end homelessness for the 1,500 kids who spend their nights on Indy’s streets. For these kids, homelessness bites. You can bite back by joining us (and making your friends, family, co-workers, and more come, too) at Apple Fest.
What can you do ’til then?
Fill those Bite Back boxes and bring them to Apple Fest for a FREE apple cobbler – who knew giving would have such a sweet reward? Don’t have a box? Give Kristen a call at 224-1019 and she will get one (or enough for you and your whole office, family, circle of friends, group) to you to start your collection.
Go through the closets and find gently used coats to donate to our Coats for Kids collection drive. Thanks to our neighbors, we were able to provide Indy’s kids with over 5,000 winter coats in time for the cold weather last year. Our friends from WTHR-13, Tuchman Cleaners and Two Men and a Truck will be there to take your coat donations and we’ll give you a FREE apple cobbler as a thank you!

Will the construction work on Monument Circle affect this event? Thanks.
By admin, September 21, 2009 @ 8:29 am
Great question! Actually, the construction is inside the monument so it will not disrupt any events happening on the Circle itself. Thanks for your question. We hope to see you at Apple Fest!

What is the lunch menu
By admin, September 30, 2009 @ 3:31 pm
What, you don’t like suprises? Ok, Applebee’s will be providing Pulled Pork Sliders (3 per meal) and Grilled Chicken Sandwiches. Costco will be providing chips and GFS Marketplace the Apple Cobbler and Ice Cream.
