Rally against homelessness at the Red Shield Rally.
Congratulations Cindy! Our Red Shield Rally Victor!
Of course, the real winners are those who are homeless that benefit from The Salvation Army's services in Indianapolis.. the beneficiary of the Red Shield Rally.
A Big Thank You to our Sponsors

So, what exactly is this Red Shield Rally?
The Red Shield Rally is a go-karting event held at Track Attack (2525 N Shadeland in Indy). It features brave drivers in real racing gear, revving up 40mph karts, and racing around a pretty sweet track. The overall winner is the victor! The Red Shield Rally also features some simultaneous events that are absolutely can't-miss.
- Spec Racers: These bad boys and girls go up to 120 mph. If the 40mph karts aren't fast enough for you, then strap into a Spec Racer and stretch your high-octane legs out on the track.
- R/C Experience: RIDEMAKERZ, who has a store in Castleton by the way, is a customization oasis. You can build your own radio controlled dream machine, customize it with some sweet rims and big pipes, and even pump some serious tunes inside.
- Chick-fil-a Snack Shack: Every racecar driver will tell you that the secret to winning the big races and pulling through in the clutch is to EAT MORE CHICKEN. So, drivers have the opportunity to refuel with the Original Chicken Sandwich, Nuggets, and of course, Milkshakes.
- Red Shield Rally Carnival De Mysteridado... er something like that... A clown that makes art from balloons, a facepainter, bounce houses, and more is all in the works to keep the kiddos entertained (if watching the adults drive isn't entertaining enough.) We strive to keep this family friendly. No tailgaters allowed! (Seriously, we'll even allow tailgaters, but you get the drift.)
So, that's the deal in a nutshell. July 12th, 2008 was our inaugural Red Shield Rally. Join us next year, where even the rain don't stop us.
